Legal Scholar and Practitioner

Rinie has been a private practitioner since 1989, predominantly in Private Law, navigating Personal Injury Law, Commercial Law, Conveyancing, Deceased Estates and more.

Since 1998, she has been practising under the name of Steinmann Attorneys as sole practitioner, resolving many complex legal problems and successfully achieving the highest possible compensation for clients against the Road Accident Fund.

She believes her ability to negotiate, strategise, and, above all, empathise with her clients has turned opponents into clients, and built lasting relationships.

Commercial Law

A notable case was one in which Rinie negotiated a settlement against an extremely difficult opponent for a client who was part of joint venture, and amidst complex legal issues.

The settlement enabled the client to buy his partners out and become sole owner of the business premises. It also helped the client to simultaneously restructure his different companies in a way that was optimally beneficial for his future financial circumstances, without recourse to protracted and expensive court battles.
